Objective
Collective Arts is a brewing company based in Ontario that uses an eclectic range of Canadian artists’ illustrations to decorate their cans. While waiting for their Call for Art submission period to open back up, I created these high-energy musical illustrations for their dry hopped sour aimed to suit their Jam Up the Mash product.




Process
I used a cartoonish and playful illustration style to reflect the brand’s creative and lighthearted personality. The vibrant, high-contrast colour combinations stand out on shelves and were chosen to complement the existing red label used by the brand, ensuring visual cohesion. Darker background scenes with quirky characters become visible upon closer inspection, rewarding customers who pick up the can!
